The Junior footy season U8.5, U9.5 and U11.5: will begin the weekend of 10 July and run through till 26 September which will be 12 matches (a complete season).
The Youth teams (U13.5 Girls and U14.5 Boys (with wests)) start their season a week later on 17 July with the season being completed on 18 October (either 14 matches with no finals, or 12 Matches with 2 weeks of finals).
Training Starts next week (week commencing Monday 8 June). NO CONTACT at this stage – the only equipment is sneakers/boots and footballs.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, protocols etc, we can only have 20 people (total) training at the grounds at the same time. This is being verified to see if we can have 20 per field, but for now it’s 20 at any one time.
Unless we hear differently re the 20 per venue rule, the Training Schedule for NEXT WEEK is:
U13.5Girls: Monday 5pm to 6pm, Friday 6.25 to 7.25pm
U14.5: To be Confirmed later this week.
U11.5: Friday 5.20pm to 6.20pm
U9.5: Thursday 5pm to 6pm
U8.5's Friday 4.30pm to 5.15pm
Most importantly, we need to confirm our registered players within the next week, so if you are still to register, please do. JUNIOR and YOUTH (new and returning players) register here.
If your position has changed please let me know and if you receive an email that your registration is pending, I'll email to remind you about sending through the proof of age documentation.
It's been a while so if you can't recall if you have registered for the season, please email to check.
It's sure to be a fast and fun season, so with everyone's help and understanding of the Covid-safe requirements, everyone will have a great time!
Stay tuned for team emails over the next day or two, but if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to call or email email@example.com.

Being awarded the 2019 McDonald's AFL Qld Brisbane Juniors CLUB OF THE YEAR (and President of the Year for our indomitable club president, Rich Pigeon) was a most rewarding way to round out the 2019 season.
Now, 2020 is set to be a great year for the Moggill Mustangs! We cater for kids ranging from Auskickers, the Roy's Juniors program as well as fielding teams in the Under 8.5s through to Under 16.5. We also look forward to the growth of our girls teams.
Check out our JOIN UP page for full details of teams and adjusted 2020 age groups, as well as AFL Qld and club fees.
The 2020 AFLQ #FOOTY4FUN awareness/educational video focusing on U8.5 match-day conduct, was recently filmed using our littlest Moggill Mustangs - and families - at our beautiful home grounds, the Moggill District Sports Park.
